Aviation Expo

Exhibition kits displayed at world wide shows to encourage the new pilots

The Brief

Airways Aviation Is A World Leader In Aviation Education And Training. With over 30 years of international experience, Airways Aviation is today the largest privately owned group of multidisciplinary aviation academies of its kind and delivers professional aviation education & training to prepare our students for optimum career outcomes.

I was asked by the Global Sales and Marketing manager to create a series of large exhibition banners and stand for international aviation exhibitions they will be displaying at. The banners and stand had varying size measurements and differing audiences. The main requirement of the banners would be to reflect the excitement and sense of achievement that comes with earning your pilot licence. Keeping in mind the message of “Student first pilot training: the Airways Aviation difference”.

The Solution

A banner also displayed at the European Airline Training Symposium (E.A.T.S). Thinking about the training planes that the company used all being propeller propelled, combining this with the three European training facilities they had at the time. So I created this triangular sectioning to replicate the propeller and display the facilities.

Light Box Stand

This exhibition stand was to displayed at the European Airline Training Symposium (E.A.T.S) and the Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (A.P.A.T.S). Where it would be the backdrop for the international sales team to talk to commercial airline companies about training their future pilots and crew members. The stand itself had simple, clean and clear messaging to innovate conversations with the team at the stand. You may wonder why I chose a black and white image and not a brightly coloured sky line with a commercial airliner cruising the airspace. Partly it was due to the messaging and logos being lost in the colourful image but this stand was going to make a big impact. Due to the image being printed onto canvas and stretched over a giant Lightbox. Back lighting the the entire stand and giving off a brilliant illumination across the entire exhibition. I felt that the black and white image would best fit this setup, allowing for clear messaging and clean design.
